Last week I wrote about winding down at the end of the day. While I love being able to fit fifteen minutes of yoga into my schedule, it doesn’t happen nightly. Sometimes those days when I really crave that relaxation coincide with days that are filled with stress. I have found a simple way to relax on a day when I truly don’t have time. Allow me to introduce you to The Quiet Place.
I don’t remember how long ago I found this website or what directed me there, but I am so grateful that I discovered it. For just a moment or two you turn off and ignore all distractions, read, and breathe. It is amazing the calm that I feel as I move through the website by pressing my spacebar. For just a moment you are able to focus on nothing and ignore all of the constant stimulation around you.
I never thought that a website would bring such calm and peace to me, and in so little time. If you need a little relaxation but don’t have much time, you need to make a quick visit to The Quiet Place.
