parsley (400x400) Winter is soon upon us! Now, you would think this would either drive people inside, or make them stop their fitness routine altogether, but most people just keep on going. It’s easy to stay inside where it is warm and there is a lot of delicious food to be made, but one of the most important things to remember is that you still need to exercise. You need to remember that with the change in weather, colds and flu are not far behind, so it is imperative that you stay healthy.

If you become ill, the last thing you will want to do is exercise. Some great healthy and holistic herbs to keep on hand and are readily available are stinging nettle, known for its anti-inflammatory properties; red clover helps eliminate toxins from your body, and magnolia flower is great for combating sinus infections because of its high levels of chlorophyll. Parsley is a great immune system booster, and of course, garlic helps fight infection.

There are many items in the all-natural, holistic arsenal, so you can choose what will work best for you to keep you healthy to be able to continue working out.
