So Much Walking Left to Do…

June 24th, 2011 by Bea | Walking
Perhaps one of the most annoying things about beach vacations is getting a sunburn on the first day and walking around like a penguin saying “Ow. Ow. Ow.” the whole time.  However, I think that sore feet can be an even bigger vacation bummer. There are many causes behind feet pain and walking.

Prevalent in many of the problems associated with pain and exercising is your choice of shoe. One day of walking on shoes not designed for a full day of walking on whatever terrain you are on, can ruin your feet and prevent you from going 100% on

Walking Injuries

April 25th, 2011 by Bea | Eating & Exercise, Hiking, Walking
Walks can get the best of your body—resulting in injury. Most people who are injured due to walking are those who spontaneously go for a hike or a long walk. While injuries can occur right away, there is also the possibility that the injury will not be felt until weeks later.

They are called Shape Ups. If you have not heard of them before, they are shoes that are designed to promote weight loss, improve posture, tone muscles, and reduce the stress that is on your knees and ankles. They are really some kind of a shoe—they look like your

Choosing Running Shoes

November 3rd, 2009 by Bea | Running
When I was little my mom would lead me to the clearance section or to wherever the markdown shoes were, and I would pick out the best looking shoes that were my size. What brand they were did not matter to me, how the support was incorporated did not even cross my mind, and other important factors like that were never taken into consideration. I just wanted a pair of shoes that looked good and that my parents would pay for.

If you are looking into actually performing physical exercise on a pretty regular schedule, choosing a shoe based on color
